Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a Madison, Wisconsin assignment. The role requires active MT credentials and at least 18 months of lab experience, with a state license potentially required.

Qualifications

• Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW or AAB required.
• Eighteen months of Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician experience required.
• A state license may be required.
• Need to have a basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures and using laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Test blood and bodily fluids using complex equipment to generate data.
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses or parasites.
• Measure drug or chemical levels in the blood to ensure therapeutic ranges.
• Analyze chemical content of blood to assess nutrients, cholesterol, or sugars.
• Follow lab protocols for analysis, interpretation and reporting.
