Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a day shift, requiring an AL or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on a Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift position from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for a diverse adult patient population
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg floor
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be less than 1 week
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for travel positions
• Returning travelers must not have been permanent staff at a CHS facility within the past 2 years

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg nursing
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
