Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med Surg

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Requirements: Generally every 3rd weekend but may bemore based on need- they just ask for flexibility.
Holiday Requirements: Every 3rd holiday- please expect to work oneof the winter holidays.
Is there call or a standby requirement?: No requirement. Will onlygive if they have requested to have their scheduled shift off or if they volunteer to cancel.

Requirements:

• NE License
• 2 Years Experience
• BLS, NIHSS
• Experience: Chest tubes-preferred experience, pain management, TPN, CBI, wounds. Charge nurse experience would be a plus but not required

Other Details:

• 50 mile radius for all travelers
• # Beds: 30 all private, average census 20
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Dementia, post surgical, falls, influenza, pneumonia, failure to thrive, cancer patients, COVID.
• Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit?: Tele on the floor. Monitor techs will read
• Floating Requirements: can float to PCU-taking MedSurg overflow or very low acuity PCU patients
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any solid color- no pattern/design
