Job summary

Advantmed is seeking Medical Records Technicians to travel to various medical facilities in the Dallas area. This is a part-time, seasonal role with hours typically from 08:00 to 17:00, offering pay of $18–$21 per hour or $3 per record, whichever is higher, with mileage and travel expenses reimbursed.

You will scan and organize patient records using provided laptops and scanners, ensure HIPAA compliance, and maintain accurate digital copies for efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must own a car and have active auto insurance in your name with registration.
• Willing to drive up to 60–80 miles round-trip.
• Internet access at home needed.
• Basic PC and office equipment skills required.
• Must be available 08:00–17:00 in local time to visit facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a record system for patient information and gather documents.
• Use electronic systems to collect, organize, and manage data.
• Ensure medical records are accurate, complete, and properly stored digitally.
• Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically.
• File paperwork and reports quickly and accurately.
• Ensure HIPAA standards are met and confidentiality maintained.
• Interact with medical staff and other personnel as needed.
