Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Lebanon, OR. The MLT will perform a range of routine and moderately complex tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology, while ensuring accuracy and equipment readiness.

The role includes walking through specimen processing, maintaining quality controls, communicating results to healthcare teams, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Valid license when needed in compliance with state regulations.
• National certification through ASCP or equivalent (AMT, AAB, HEW) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and related areas.
• Prepare and process specimens with accurate labeling and handling.
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure accurate test results and instrument calibration.
