HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician for a travel job in Summerville, South Carolina. This role requires flexibility to cover 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, including 12-hour days and alternating weekends/holidays.

You will work at Summerville Medical Center and support the Lab (791) with chemistry, hematology, and blood bank duties. The position demands ASCP or MLT/MT certification and prior laboratory generalist experience, preferably including blood

Qualifications

• Generalist experience preferably with blood bank experience.
• ASCP MT or MLT ASCP certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Chemistry, hematology, UA, coag and limited micro testing.
• Blood bank procedures and specimen handling per unit policies.
• Maintain Lab quality standards and comply with safety guidelines.

Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and Holidays in rotation with Hospital employees

• Number of Beds - 0
• Number of Staff – 27
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift – 2 lab assistant, 1 OP lab assistant, 1 Supervisor, 3-4 techs
• Night Shift – 1 lab assistant, 2-3 techs
• Patient Ratios –
• Type of equipment – Beckman DXCi600, DXC, Access, Sysmex XN-3000 with slide maker stainer and cellavision and WAM, ACL TOP 300, IRIS, Radiometer Blood Gas
• EMR - Meditech

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Generalist experience preferably with blood bank experience
