Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Del Norte, CO. The role involves performing routine and moderately complex tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and toxicology to support patient care.

Ideal candidates have one year of MLT experience, a valid license where required, and may pursue ASCP or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician
• Valid license when needed in compliance with any state regulations

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, immunology, and related areas.
• Prepare and process specimens for analysis with accurate labeling and handling.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results by following quality control protocols.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines (AABB, CAP, FDA, CLIA).
• Assist with instrument operation and maintenance, troubleshooting as needed.
• Communicate test results clearly to other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain detailed records of test results, calibrations, and quality control measures.
