Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in our Flagler offices. You will perform venipuncture, basic lab testing, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requirements include at least one year of MA experience, a high school diploma or GED, a Florida driver’s license for travel to clinics, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. We offer comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office with the ability to perform venipunctures preferred.
• Florida driver’s license needed for travel to the clinics.
• High school diploma or GED is required and must be produced at hire.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS provides BLS course within first 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with medical procedures in office.
• Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance.
