Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lufkin, Texas. The role focuses on Medical Surgical with Telemetry in a rural hospital, with patient ratios around 5-6:1 and opportunities to work with ongoing Heparin titration and telemetry monitoring.

BNLT: Requires 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, travel employment, and a chance to float to PCU. Paragon charting will transition to EPIC by late October 2026.

Qualifications

• Valid BLS (AHA) certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical with Telemetry experience.
• Current RN license.
• Ability to read telemetry strips.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care in a Med Surg Telemetry unit.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret strips.
• Possibly float to other med/surg units as needed.
• Collaborate with team to manage care for patients with CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD.
