Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Details

• Position Description: The role involves working in a rural hospital's med/surg telemetry unit, where there is a dependence on travel nurses to ensure consistent patient care. The unit manages a patient ratio of approximately 5-6:1, with patients who may require ongoing titration of Heparin. Telemetry monitoring is essential, and nurses must be capable of reading strips. The unit uses the Paragon charting system, transitioning to EPIC by October 30, 2026.
