Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel RN in Med Surg/Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Mattoon, Illinois. Start date is 10/19/2026 with 36 hours per week on a 10-hour night shift, travel employment type.

We require an active RN license, an accredited nursing degree, BLS certification, and at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg acuity experience. Benefits include weekly pay, housing options, credentialing fee coverage, and health insurance for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting

Responsibilities

• Med-Surg RN provides care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Complete assignments made by physicians and provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments; administer medications.
• Meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and treatment team.
