Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Lancaster, South Carolina for Med Surg/Telemetry with night shifts on a 13-week contract. The RN will provide care on a medical-surgical and telemetry unit, monitor patients, administer meds, and collaborate with the care team.

Requirements include 2+ years of nursing experience, SC or Compact RN license, and BLS/ACLS/NIH certifications. Telemetry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant setting.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Telemetry experience and interpretation of dysrhythmias preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry data to detect abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Float to like units as needed to meet facility requirements.
