TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Des Moines, IA. This Med Surg / Telemetry role includes 26-week duration, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour night shifts, offering travel compensation and tax-free stipend where applicable.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of acute care RN experience, current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and comfort with telemetry monitoring and vital-sign data interpretation while delivering bedside care and collaborating with the medical team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Telemetry monitoring and patient assessment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and interpret displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
