Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in a medical/surgical unit to provide excellent care for our adult and older adult patient population. The role involves managing trauma patients, administering heparin drips, and other acute medications as ordered, ensuring adherence to BLS and ACLS protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a 32-bed unit.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
• Record and monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Perform medication administration and manage acute care protocols effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• Documented experience in medical/telemetry nursing is mandatory.

• Prior experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehab or NICHE training is a plus.
