ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Chattanooga, TN. Join our Cardiac Unit on a 30-bed floor providing care to cardiac patients in a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.

The contract is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Active RN license, BLS and ACLS required; cardiac nursing experience preferred.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Cardiac Unit, where you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients in a 30-bed unit with a ratio of 6:1. As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize advanced cardiac knowledge, perform bedside rounding and hourly rounding, and ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage cardiac patients using telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips as per protocols.
• Perform chest tube and wound vac management.
• Document and acknowledge all telemetry applications and rhythm strips.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and report patient needs efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Cardiac nursing experience preferred.
