Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg/Tele unit dedicated to the care of adult and older adult patients. You will be responsible for managing trauma patients, administering Heparin drips, and administering all acute medications as ordered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a maximum ratio of 1:5.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Utilize specialty equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR.
• Participate in the development and implementation of nursing care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Documented experience in medical telemetry.
• Knowledge of skilled nursing and rehabilitation, prior NICHE training is a plus.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Mandatory Holiday Coverage

Travelers are required to work either on Thanksgiving Day or the day after Thanksgiving, along with either Christmas Eve and Christmas Day OR New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
