Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for PCU - Progressive Care Unit in Omaha, Nebraska. This travel assignment is 13 weeks long, with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour nights. Start date 09/28/2026, with ongoing opportunities through MedPro’s client network.

The Oncology RN will care for cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, monitor progress, and educate families. Requirements include active RN license, degree from an accredited program, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months oncology

Qualifications

Active RN License
Degree from accredited nursing program
BLS & ACLS Certifications
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

The Oncology RN will care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients.
They will administer chemotherapy, implement new methods of symptom treatment and monitor their patients' progress.
Oncology nurses also create a supportive environment. They may opt to specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.
