Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Travel RN in Marquette, MI for Med Surg/Telemetry. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week, with nights (12-hour shifts). Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and current BLS/ACLS/NIH certifications.

You will perform bedside care, medication administration, dressing changes, and discharge planning while supporting families. Expect a fast-paced environment with lifting requirements up to 50 pounds and the possibility of a tax-free

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH certification required
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for diverse patient populations including pre- and post-op
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during exams/treatments
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-discharge care
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education planning
