TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Marquette, Michigan.

As a MedSurg RN, you will conduct patient assessments, perform bedside care, administer medications, manage post-op care, and assist with discharge planning while educating patients and families. This 13-week travel assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment. BLS, ACLS, and 2 years of acute care experience are required.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside Med/Surg care, including pre- and post-op patients.
• Administer and document medications, report adverse reactions.
• Assist with wound care, catheter insertions, IV starts, and dressing changes.
• Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning.
