Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Sapulpa, OK. The role supports comprehensive high-quality nursing care in med-surg and telemetry units, with a 36-hour week and nights. Start date: 10/18/2026.

The ideal candidate has 1 year Med Surg RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred NIHSS and ACLS may be required depending on assignment. Strong clinical skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during treatments.
• Maintain a safe environment and monitor patient conditions.
• Document patient information in the medical record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create care plans.
• Prioritize care based on acuity and clinical needs.
• Ensure infection control practices and PPE use.
