Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Tulsa, OK. You will provide high‑quality patient care in med-surg/telemetry, perform assessments, manage medications, and collaborate with the care team. Start date 09/28/2026 with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Requirements include 1 year Med Surg RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS. Preferred NIHSS/ACLS certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of Med Surg RN experience required.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per standards.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor responses.
• Maintain safe environment and infection control practices.
• Document patient information in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Prioritize care based on acuity and clinical needs.
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with resources.
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards.
