Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Arlington, Texas. The position is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, consisting of 12-hour night shifts.

Active RN license and BLS are required, with 18 months of acute Med-Surg experience. Travel benefits include weekly pay, housing options or housing allowance, health insurance, 401(k) matching, travel reimbursements, credentialing fee coverage, and other comprehensive nurse benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult Med-Surg patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Attend to patients on medications to manage illness.
• Perform routine treatments and post-surgical care as directed by physicians.
• Assess changes in patient health status and adjust care as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medications and treatments for continuity of care.
