Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for Med Surg in Amarillo, Texas. The assignment runs 13 weeks, with 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, and offers travel benefits and housing options.

The RN must hold an active license, have a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification, with at least 18 months of acute care Med/Surg experience. Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
