Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Night shifts available with pay up to $672–$768 gross per shift (56–64 per hour).

You will support department operations, supervise staff, ensure quality patient care, and collaborate with physicians. Requires RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least one year as charge nurse in Med Surg.

Qualifications

RN license required and current.
BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
PALS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
