Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Athens, Texas. This role features a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night schedule (19:00-07:00).

The ideal candidate has telemetry/acute care experience, current ACLS/BLS certifications, and a valid RN license (state/compact). ARMStaffing offers benefits, onboarding support, and housing/travel assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or acute care.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• State or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips with monitoring and intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT and respiratory services.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and manage PPE.
