Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Athens, Texas. The assignment is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift. The ideal candidate will have telemetry experience, current ACLS and BLS, and an active RN license in the state or a compact license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably telemetry or acute care.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• State or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of application.
• Travel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips with monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Maintain patient records using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and manage PPE.
