Job summary
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a night Med-Surg position in Moab, Utah. Be part of a rural hospital team caring for adult and mother/baby populations with 12-hour night shifts and a 7-on/7-off rotation.
Active Utah or compact RN license, 1 year med-surg experience, BLS/NRP, and willingness to obtain ACLS/PALS are required. Great benefits and travel perks accompany this assignment.
Qualifications
- Active Utah or compact RN license required.
- Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical RN experience.
- Current BLS/BCLS and NRP certifications required.
- Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Willing to obtain ACLS and PALS within one year if not already held.
- Ability to provide patient care appropriate to certification.
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety techniques.
Responsibilities
- Work in a medical-surgical department at a rural hospital setting.
- Adult and mother/baby med-surg patient populations including post-partum neonates to geriatrics.
- Assignment includes 7 days on and 7 days off, night shifts from 6PM to 6AM.
- Opportunities to cross-train in Emergency Department and PACU.
- Responsibilities include caring for patients with varying acuities and age ranges.
