American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift assignment in Greensburg, PA. Candidates must have at least one year of Med/Surg nursing experience, an active PA or compact RN license, and BLS certification.

The role requires Cerner charting experience and community hospital background; duties include direct patient care in a Med/Surg unit, with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio and 3x12-hour night shifts 19:00–07:30. Travel and housing allowances apply.

Formación

• Active PA or Compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required (AHA only).
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Skills in IV therapy, central line and PICC line management, and blood product administration.
• Experience with wound care/wound vac, isolation precautions, and PPE.
• Experience managing cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmias, and code team response.
• Experience with respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and tracheostomy management.
• Experience with GI, GU/renal, orthopedic, and endocrine patient care.
• Valid driver's license, SSN, and DOB required for consideration.
• Two supervisor references preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit.
• Maintain patient ratio of 1:7.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.
• Floating within hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed.
• Willing to work every other holiday.
• Travelers who complete a cumulative year of assignments within the WVU Medicine system must wait two years before returning.
• Fingerprinting, drug screening, and required labs must be completed within 24–48 hours of signing.
• Compliance requirements must be cleared by the Wednesday prior to start.
• Approximately 1 hour of required pre-start modules must be completed before entering the facility.
