Job summary

AdventHealth in Merriam, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN night shifts under the StaffFlex program. You will provide high-quality nursing care, document patient data, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment across units within the AdventHealth system.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Nursing, or higher, an active RN license, and a minimum of 2 years in an acute hospital setting. BLS and other unit certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and current in-state or compact license.
• English fluent in reading, writing and speaking.
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking appropriate to patient care level.
• Documents patient health data accurately and timely.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians and staff to ensure quality care.
