Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week travel assignment in Nashville, TN. The RN will provide bedside Med Surg care, document findings, and educate patients and families in a fast-paced environment.

Requires 1-2 years acute care experience and BLS; travel duties include 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours/week. Responsibilities include administering medications, preparing patients for discharge, and assisting physicians.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of Med Surg patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Administer and record medications, monitor for adverse reactions.
• Assist with procedures and patient education; participate in discharge planning.
