Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a traveling Med/Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Riverton, WY. This travel role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and 12-hour nights with a 36-hour workweek. Immediate start and a tax-free stipend may apply.

The ideal candidate will perform bedside assessments, document findings, and provide education to patients and families, along with discharge planning and care coordination throughout the travel assignment.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for Med/Surg patients including pre- and post-op care.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Assist with procedures and educate patients and families.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
