Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Med/Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Lander, WY. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care nursing, a current RN license, and certifications such as ACLS/BLS/PALS.

You will perform bedside care, medications administration, dressing changes, and patient education while supporting discharge planning and family education. Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS; additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of Med/Surg patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs; assist in exams and treatments.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning and education plans.
