Job summary

TotalMed is seeking Medical Surgical Travel Nurses for a 13-week assignment in Cleveland, OH. The RN will conduct assessments, perform treatments, document findings, and educate families.

Requires ACLS/BLS and 1–2 years of acute care experience. Shift is 12 hours at night; travel seasonally supports 36 hours per week, with pay packages and stipends Responsibilities include bedside care, medication administration, dressings, and discharge planning, with ability to handle a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Travel nursing assignment in Cleveland, OH.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Assist physician during examinations and treatments as needed.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and care plans.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education as prescribed.
