Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio.

We expect 1-2 years of acute care experience. Responsibilities include bedside care, medication administration, wound dressings, and patient education. You will work 12-hour nights on a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, and ACLS/BLS certifications are required or may be required before starting. TotalMed RN offers weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required for the travel assignment.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for Med/Surg patients including pre- and post-op patients.
• Administer and document prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs as needed.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
