Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Boston, MA. This 13-week assignment requires a 36-hour work week on 12-hour night shifts, with Travel employment type.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and valid BLS certification. As a MedSurg Travel Nurse, you will perform bedside assessments, administer medications, document care, and support patients and families.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for Med Surg patients.
• Administer and document medications; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Insert catheters and start IVs as needed.
• Assist during pre- and post-op care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families.
