Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Mattoon, Illinois.

The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with 10-hour night shifts on a medical-surgical unit. The nurse must have an Illinois license, at least 2 years of Med-Surg RN experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and be located more than 50 miles from the facility. Preferred experience includes Bi-Pap and high-flow oxygen therapies.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum 2 years of med-surg RN experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Travel nursing assignment with 13 weeks duration.
• Must possess valid address and be >50 miles from facility.

Responsibilities

• Care for medical-surgical patients on night shift.
• Monitor and manage COPD, pneumonia, infections, UTIs.
• Proficient with Bi-Pap and high-flow oxygen therapies.
• Document care and collaborate with clinical team.
