Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Akron, Ohio. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, and it is a travel position.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS certification, with 18 months of Acute Care Med/Surg experience. Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
