Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Med Surg RN for an assignment in Shelton, Washington. The RN will perform bedside assessments, administer medications, and support discharge planning for a fast-paced Med-Surg unit.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and is willing to travel. Start 10/05/2026 for approximately 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on night shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for post-op and general medical-surgical patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and document administration.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
