Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Midland, Michigan.

The role requires 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, nights on a 12-hour shift, with travel employment. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Join a fast-paced team and provide high-quality patient care in Med/Surg and Telemetry units.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• RN license with BLS/ACLS current.
• Med/Surg/Telemetry familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Aids physician during examination and treatment.
• Educates patients and families about procedures.
• Participates in discharge planning and education.
