Requirements include BLS, ACLS, and 2 years of acute care experience. The role involves bedside care, medication administration, and patient education, with ongoing assessments and discharge planning as needed.

Qualifications

• RN with 1-2 years acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Med Surg / Telemetry nursing specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-discharge care.
• Contribute to discharge planning and patient education plans.
