Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. The role is travel-based, 13 weeks long, with 36 hours weekly on 12-hour night shifts at a Level I trauma/s Magnet hospital.

Qualified candidates hold an active SC or compact RN license, possess at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience, and have a current BLS certification. EPIC experience is preferred. Local candidates within 60 miles considered case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina or compact RN license required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical RN experience
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Float to various medical-surgical units at the main hospital and Ashley River Tower
• Care for adult med/surg patient populations with ratios varying by unit assignment
• Night shift schedule with 3x12hr shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Holiday and weekend rotation required as part of schedule
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
