Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) for a Cincinnati, Ohio assignment. The M/S RN will work nights on a 12-hour shift, 36 hours per week, for an estimated 13 weeks with an ASAP start. Criteria include 1–2 years of acute care experience and required ACLS/BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH certification or willingness to obtain may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on condition.
• Perform ongoing assessments and treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Document findings and provide patient and family education.
• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-op patients and manage medications.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education plans.
