Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Nantucket, MA, starting 10/12/2026. The role is travel-based at 36 hours per week with 12-hour rotating shifts. 1–2 years of acute care experience and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, and patient education. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years acute care RN experience.
• Start date 10/12/2026 for a 13-week assignment; 36 hours per week.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of surgical and medical patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and document administration.
• Change dressings and start IVs; assist with procedures.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
