Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Rockport, ME. You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts in a facility in Rockport, ME.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Med Surg RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS certification; NIHSS/ACLS are preferred. This role offers competitive pay and supportive clinical teams for travel professionals.

Formación

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Active RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

Responsabilidades

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes
• Prepare patients for diagnostics and assist physicians during procedures
• Maintain safe, comfortable environment for patients
• Document vital signs, medications, treatments, and care outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan individualized care
• Manage multiple patients and prioritize care based on acuity
• Ensure infection control practices including hand hygiene and PPE use
• Advocate for patients' needs and preferences in care plans
• Coordinate discharge planning for smooth transition home
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
