Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Florence, South Carolina. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour day shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.

The RN will join a MedSurg/General Surgery unit, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes. Must hold SC or compact RN license and EPIC experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Three years of nursing experience in MedSurg or similar environment preferred.
• Candidate must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a MedSurg/General Surgery setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Participate in call rotation and respond to urgent situations as necessary.
