Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a float pool in Montgomery, Alabama. The position requires active RN licensure (AL or compact), BLS and NIHSS certifications, and at least 18 months of Med/Surg and/or ICU experience. 12-hour shifts, float between units, and no on-call obligation.

Assigned home unit on orientation day, with potential to work across multiple units in a Level I trauma center setting. Competitive weekly pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum 18 months MedSurg and/or ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including turning, bathing, and ADL assistance.
• Interpret and confirm telemetry readings every 4 hours.
• Assist with orientation and onboarding of travelers and ensure unit coverage as needed.
