Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Indiana. This role requires an RN license, BLS, and 18 months of Med-Surg experience, with a 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will be able to complete physician-assigned duties, provide post-surgical care, and document care meticulously for continuity among teams. Travel benefits and housing support are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care among staff and physicians.
