Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia. You will join a top healthcare facility as a Med-Surg RN, working 12-hour day and night shifts across a 36-hour weekly schedule.

The role requires active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS, and 18 months of acute care Med/Surg experience. Additional client-specific requirements may apply, with travel and housing support provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient’s health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
