Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia. The role requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and 18 months of acute care Med/Surg experience.

Start date is 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek across day and night shifts. As a travel assignment, housing, travel reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits are provided by MedPro Staffing.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
