Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. seeks a Travel MedSurg RN to deliver comprehensive bedside care for adult patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting in Atlanta, GA.

You will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer medications including IV therapy, document in the EHR, and educate patients and families. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team will ensure safe, high-quality care and smooth transitions for patients.

Qualifications

• Experienced MedSurg RN with strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in IV therapy and wound/post-op care.
• Accurate EHR documentation and patient education ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop or revise individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and provide IV therapy.
• Provide wound care and monitor patients following procedures/surgery.
• Document accurately in the EHR and communicate with the care team.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment and recovery.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support coordinated, high-quality care.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control and quality standards; adapt to new environments.
